When I was thinking about making the series “Forest Setting” I had a flash of colours in my mind, the inspiration to begin working. Very rarely am I able to capture that initial inspiration. Usually I let it go and work with what is developing in front of me. But in this painting I was able to capture the colours I saw in my mind. That’s why this is my favourite.
